Two Twenty Five does not collect any data. It works entirely offline. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third‑party SDKs. Everything you create — every take, transcript, and score — is stored only on your own device, inside the app's private storage, and is removed automatically if you delete the app.
All of the following lives only on your device, in a local on‑device database (SwiftData). None of it is ever transmitted anywhere, because the app makes no network requests of any kind.
You can erase all of the above at any time from Settings → Reset all progress. This immediately and permanently deletes every stored record.
The app asks for camera access only when you tap Scan page while marking a transcript or composing your own take. The camera is used to photograph a handwritten (pen shorthand) or printed page so the app can turn it into text. That image is processed entirely on your device using Apple's built‑in text‑recognition (Vision framework) and is not saved, stored, or uploaded anywhere — only the recognized text is kept, as part of the take or transcript you were already editing.
The app lets you choose a photo of a transcript or a printed page using Apple's standard photo picker. The picker runs outside the app and only hands over the single photo you explicitly choose — Two Twenty Five never sees or browses the rest of your photo library. The chosen photo is read on‑device with the same text‑recognition process described above and is not saved by the app.
If you turn on the optional daily practice reminder in Settings, the app schedules a local notification on your device at the time you choose. This is requested only at the moment you enable it, and nothing about your practice history is ever sent to a server to trigger it — the reminder is generated and delivered entirely by your device.
